Q: Louise, welcome to Coyne Recruitment, tell our candidates and clients a little about you.
A: Passionate about helping provide people with opportunities and help them develop their careers. Away from my day job I
run a junior football club with 38 teams called FC Northern where we offer a platform for all kids to play football which is something, I am extremely proud
off. You will also find me on the golf course in my free time or watching Everton.
Q: What is your experience of the skills & employability sector and recruiting within it?
A: Extensive experience in the employability and skills sector having previously worked for organisations such as Shaw trust
as a support worker helping young people into further education and employment, street league as a progressions coordinator, Everton in the community as a youth engagement officer and also Ingeus as a youth engagement and recruitment officer on the NCS contract. My work history has allowed me to build and maintain relationships with external organisations within the employability and youth sectors. I am really proud of being able to help people achieve their goals and aspirations, I get a sense of pride and reward in helping others.
Q: What’s your impression of the recruitment market across our markets, particularly with what has happened in 2020?
A: From speaking to Stuart, Dan and Andrew their prospective has slightly changed my mind on the market place. I was envisaging it being slow paced and not very many jobs. On the employability side of things it is amazing to see how busy Coyne Recruitment are. On my first day for instance I can see 30 live vacancies on employability alone across contracts such as IPES, JETS, able futures and WHP. Its great that our sector is so buoyant.
2020 has proved to be a difficult year for everyone, but I am looking forward to support and able to help people into work and provide them with opportunities within the employability and skills sector.
Q: Why did you choose Coyne Recruitment?
A: Coyne recruitment have an excellent team working to strive for excellence in what they do, the staff are passionate and dedicated and I am looking forward to being part of it. From meeting the directors I knew they had the same passion and values as myself around working in trusted partnership status. Also during my due diligence hearing how well regarded they are by competitors and clients in the sector I’ve been chomping at the bit to get started.
