We are currently looking to support one of our leading clients who are currently expanding their team in Greater Manchester and as such are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to deliver an effective 360 recruitment service to customers across Greater Manchester that meets the quality standards of the recruitment industry.
You will be delivering on the Restart Scheme; an intensive and tailored support scheme to help unemployed people find work.
Use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract new business from companies
Promote services to employers to establish a solid employer base.
Secure employer visits and generate vacancy opportunities from employer base and new business.
Identify new sales leads to develop new business to include cold calling, client visits, marketing material, referrals and through online research.
Provide a consultative service to employers and candidates and refer to relevant services within the group where appropriate to maximise income.
Maximise candidate attraction via various resources to include advertising vacancies, liaising with internal and external partners, utilising social media resources such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
To maximise commercial exposure through the effective use of social media and any other technology based platforms available to us.
Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
Compile suitable adverts to attract candidates to vacancies generated.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key partners and agencies in order to generate a flow of appropriate candidates and generate new business.
Ability to work within a fast paced, target driven environment.
Ability to prioritise and organise workload.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly and accurately and to work to deadlines.
Flexible approach to work including willingness to travel and work occasional unsociable hours, including weekends.
Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets, diary management and email.
Ability to use digital channels to promote the service. This includes the usage of LinkedIn Facebook, Twitter and other relevant social media channels.
Experience within the welfare to work sector within employer engagement/ recruitment.
Over 12 month’s sales experience in any capacity.
Proven ability of winning new business in a commercial environment
Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with customers.
Assessing individual skills and placing people in to employment.
