We are currently looking to support a fantastic organisation recruit for a highly skilled Digital Technology Tutor responsible for delivering in-depth IT and employability training for a duration of 6 weeks online. As the post holder, you will deliver an outstanding learning experience on behalf of our client’s learners.

Responsibilities

The role will predominantly involve teaching a range of young trainees (19–24-year-olds), whilst helping to shape and develop their future by providing the skills and knowledge they need to succeed within their chosen career pathways`.

You will be delivering Technical and Employability training modules effectively and to a very high standard whilst supporting and mentoring trainees throughout their time on the program and in preparation for the next steps towards work placements and apprenticeships.

To plan, organise, and deliver “digital technology and employability” training to groups of learners\trainees working towards an accredited qualification, work placement and an apprenticeship.

The Technical side of delivery will involve you teaching learners a broad range of skills including:

  • Basic IT security.
  • A range of digital technologies used in the workplace.
  • The basic principles of setting up an IT Network.
  • The basic elements of software development.
  • The key principles of marketing.
  • The fundamentals and key elements of digital marketing.
  • Essential Criteria:

    Recognised Level 3 qualification in ICT

    Level 2 English and maths at minimum Grade C (or equivalent)

    Minimum of Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS)

    Prior experience of delivering Digital/ ICT training
