The requirement to drive Quality Assurance across the company is paramount. The post holder will be responsible for timely sampling, Development Coach (DC) support and meeting AO and EPAO requirements for apprentices on programme.


  • Timely desktop sampling (using Bud Systems) following the company sampling strategy with rich and impactful developmental feedback
  • Deliver, monitor, and evaluate DC/Tutor CPD requirements (remote and face to face) following the Quality Framework and provide feedback and action planning
  • Conduct apprentice and employer interviews as per sampling strategy
  • Conduct quality assurance sampling of our curriculum e-learning and resources
  • Conduct timely observations of teaching and learning following the strategy using the documentation provided
  • Conduct timely Mock EPA activity with apprentices and employers (where relevant) once triggered by the Development Coaches
  • Maintain active support and guidance for DC’s
  • Actively support and monitor all Quality improvement activity through our live Quality Improvement Plan
  • Contribute to all Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement processes
  • Keep up to date with any industry and curriculum changes
  • Work with the Head of Quality to plan and lead on any relevant external/accreditation visits
  • Attend and lead (when relevant) developmental/standardisation/team meetings or training sessions
  • Complete any CPD requirement as directed by the business and/or your line manager


  • Maintain a sampling plan for your DC’s in line with the company’s sampling strategy (either manually or within Bud)
  • Ensure all planned samples are carried out in a timely manner
  • Conduct DC observations and support
  • Provide robust oral and written feedback to DC’s that leads to timely apprentice completions (Success rates)
  • Develop DC’s to excel in their operational activity, delivery and overall customer experience
  • Ensure all IQA practice meets Awarding Organisation/End Point Assessment Organisation expectations
  • Facilitate standardisation meetings/training sessions as per company Annual Quality and Curriculum Planner
  • Support the company to deliver on agreed GROWTH objectives
  • Ensure Bud Systems is fully utilised to manage and monitor learner progress
  • Conduct Mock End-Point Assessments for all apprentices


  • Assessor, IQA and Trainer qualified and with experience in Apprenticeships
  • Competence and experience within the sector (Digital Marketing/Content Producer)
  • IQA experience of delivering Apprenticeship Standards and conducting Mock End-point Assessments
  • Experience in observations of teaching and learning
  • Experience of delivering BCS, NCFE and CIM qualifications desirable
  • Experience of using bksb and CognAssist desirable
  • Proven track record of raising standards of delivery, developing staff and leading EQA visits
  • Experience of using ePortfolios (Bud Systems desirable) and Learning Management Systems
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework
  • Achieved English, Maths and ICT Functional Skills at Level 2 desirable
