Coyne Recruitment work with the leading and most reputable organisations across the Employability and Skills sector. We are currently looking to support a fantastic organisation to recruit for a skilled Learner Engagement Officer for our client.

Within this role you will be required to maximise business opportunities across the employability and skills sector by increasing the number of learners enrolled onto training programmes across Greater Manchester. You will also be required to maintain a presence in referral partners across Greater Manchester and driving referrals through selling the provision to referral partners and job coaches to ensure quota is met.

You will be involved in identifying job vacancies in Greater Manchester to ensure learners have a progression pathway with a chance of employment upon completion of their course.

Responsibilities:

  • Work to and achieve key performance targets
  • Proactively drive the recruitment of learners onto our training programmes within the region of Greater Manchester
  • Engage with employers both locally and regionally where required, by cold-calling telesales, speculative client visits, face to face meetings, responding to advertised vacancies and other business development techniques to identify and generate vacancies and employment opportunities for learners upon successful completion of their course
  • Liaise with pre-employability training course tutors as required to match learners to suitable employment opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with non-sales colleagues to ensure the learner/employer journey from engagement and enrolment to achievement and employment/progression is efficient and timely
  • Provide learners, employers and stakeholders with information, advice and guidance as required
  • To ensure administrative procedures are followed at all times, including reporting of business development/sales-related activity as required by the Company
  • To attend and participate in meetings and to produce reports as requested
