We are currently looking to support a fantastic organisation recruit for a highly skilled an experienced Careers Advisor

The role is to provide vital careers information, advice and guidance to make a difference to the lives of individuals and communities. Our Careers Advisers are helping people across Greater Manchester and Merseyside to get their careers back on track following on from the pandemic.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in sales or recruitment or have experience in advice and guidance and have demonstrable record in working to and delivering targets in a team environment. You will be highly presentable and have excellent communication skills to establish rapport with various customers, employers and clients.

Ideally, you will possess a minimum Level 4 or equivalent in IAG but we are still keen to hear from you if you have Level 3 and are willing to progress to achieving Level 4.

A background of working on a payment by results contract is an advantage and/or have worked to targets and deadlines previously. We will also look for individuals that are self-motivated, can work remotely and communicate effectively with external organisations to develop partnership relationships.

Currently our advisers are delivering face-to-face delivery in the community and offering a digital service working from home which has great advantages to both the customer and the employee in line with the organisations agile working policy.

Additional Duties

  • Establish strong relationships with new and existing local and national employer clients to capture job opportunities that enhance the successful recruitment of suitably skilled individuals through remote digital methods and face to face contact.
  • Identifying, building, and maintaining collaborative external partnerships with JCP, Work Programme organisations, education establishments, NCS and other customer facing organisations looking to support unemployed clients.
    • Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with new and existing employers to generate vacancies for participants through remote digital methods and face to face contact.
    • Organise and facilitate sector specific pre-employment Academies to support participants to access local employment opportunities
    • To drive program job entry targets and to capitalise on the opportunities to achieve outcomes for participants throughout the life of the contract.
