We are now recruiting for a Performance Manager to successfully deliver our clients Manchester wide programme focused on securing job opportunities for recently unemployed participants. You will motivate and support a team to achieve high performance levels in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will also ensure that delivery meets compliance, quality and customer service standards.
The role of a Performance & Delivery Manager is to motivate and support their teams to achieve high performance levels, achieve expected Customer Service Standards/compliance in line with contractual requirements and oversee day-to-day performance
Lead, develop, motivate, manage and retain quality staff who are capable of ensuring the delivery of contracted services
Manage the complexities of a mobile and remote workforce; maintaining close working and managerial support in delivering a range of participant services and solutions
Managing individuals’ performance through the use of the Performance Management Framework ensuring that Employment Advisors, Personal Support Teams and other staff are exceeding their minimum performance targets
Provide the Head of Delivery with regular reporting of performance in accordance with business requirements
Deliver the budgeted financial performance of their teams through effective operational and financial management.
Ability to effectively lead and manage staff
To confidently present to partner organisations and other stakeholders
Ability to produce written reports to a good standard
Proficient IT user
To manage a team of up to 25
Track record of achieving tangible performance results
Good understanding of the employability, training & employment industries
Working knowledge of the principles of people management and employment law
Understanding of MI and financial information
Excellent labour market knowledge, particularly of recruiting employers and sectors across Greater Manchester
Excellent understanding of the labour market impact of Covid-19
Good knowledge of relevant policies both local and national
