We are now recruiting for a Performance Manager to successfully deliver our clients Manchester wide programme focused on securing job opportunities for recently unemployed participants. You will motivate and support a team to achieve high performance levels in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You will also ensure that delivery meets compliance, quality and customer service standards.

The role of a Performance & Delivery Manager is to motivate and support their teams to achieve high performance levels, achieve expected Customer Service Standards/compliance in line with contractual requirements and oversee day-to-day performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, motivate, manage and retain quality staff who are capable of ensuring the delivery of contracted services

  • Manage the complexities of a mobile and remote workforce; maintaining close working and managerial support in delivering a range of participant services and solutions

  • Managing individuals’ performance through the use of the Performance Management Framework ensuring that Employment Advisors, Personal Support Teams and other staff are exceeding their minimum performance targets

  • Provide the Head of Delivery with regular reporting of performance in accordance with business requirements

  • Deliver the budgeted financial performance of their teams through effective operational and financial management.

Key Skills:

  • Ability to effectively lead and manage staff

  • To confidently present to partner organisations and other stakeholders

  • Ability to produce written reports to a good standard

  • Proficient IT user

  • To manage a team of up to 25

  • Track record of achieving tangible performance results

  • Good understanding of the employability, training & employment industries

  • Working knowledge of the principles of people management and employment law

  • Understanding of MI and financial information

  • Excellent labour market knowledge, particularly of recruiting employers and sectors across Greater Manchester

  • Excellent understanding of the labour market impact of Covid-19

  • Good knowledge of relevant policies both local and national
