Coyne Recruitment work with some of the leading training providers in the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen for driven and motivated sales professional, who has experience in B2B sales to join a leading training company.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the growth of new clients, which includes developing new client relationships, growing existing relationships with clients and partners, and leading on their initial experience of our clients’ service.

You will have a strong desire to pro-actively contact and work with employers to identify their needs, to sell current products. This may require tailoring or bespoke design of programme solutions so you can achieve your sales target with accounts across or client’s full range of products and programme areas. You will also gather intelligence on customer needs to share with other senior managers to continually improve our client’s product offering.

You will need to be driven, organised, and dedicated to managing a busy and demanding workload. You will have a genuine passion for the world of education, putting the client experience and their learners at the heart of everything you do.

You will be able to build effective client relationships as well as the ability to network with wider colleagues within the LTE Group and external stakeholders.

(This is primarily a Business to Consumer (B2C) role with some focus on Business to Business (B2B) relationships.)

Job Duties:

  • Build exceptional relationships with our internal and external customers, delivering a best-in-class service that meets our customers’ needs.
  • Process transactions accurately and in a timely and efficient manner, resolving any exceptions promptly and keeping the stakeholders informed.
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks with a high degree of personal responsibility and judgement working to a standard of accuracy as defined by the team manager.
  • Professionally and effectively employ sales skills to achieve sales targets (e.g., no. of client accounts, learners, client spend, client margin)
  • Convert inbound enquiries from numerous sources and media and pursue outbound leads to convert into enrolments onto our courses and recognise and maximise opportunities to increase sales.
  • Build and manage an effective pipeline of sales prospects to increase share of each market sector.
  • Be able to match appropriate products to clients’ requirements.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and recommend any necessary tactical action.
  • Work with senior managers to ensure up-to-date product knowledge and relevant sales collateral (online and paper-based) to facilitate sales of all products be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of all products, relevant selling points and benefits.
  • To achieve KPI’s set by Head of Business Development/Customer Experience Manager around minimum call targets and prioritising focus on appropriate sector or corporate business when required.
  • Contribute to the Sales & Marketing Strategy
  • Qualification / Experience


    • Proven, recent, sales experience demonstrated in a B2B/B2C environment, ideally from within the apprenticeship sector.
  • Functional Skills or Equivalent Level 2 or willing to work towards
  • Evidence of problem identification and solving abilities.
  • Desirable

  • Educated to level 3 or above or experience in a similar role.
