We have a very exciting opportunity for a Work Coach to support the running of our Student Recruitment and Admissions department.
We are looking for a talented and experienced recruiter who has a genuine interest to work in the Education sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to see the direct impact of how effective recruitment can play a key role in the success of our provider.
Reporting to the Student Recruitment and Admissions Manager, the ideal candidate will have a strong advisory focus as well as key elements of exceptional customer service.
You will be first point of contact for candidates and line managers on a wide range of student recruitment queries. It would be advantageous if you have already worked in a similar position to enable you to have the ability to produce, understand and maintain existing relationship.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build long lasting relationships with employers and learners at all levels. You are hands-on, proactive and determined to be the best when it comes to knowing your stuff and exceeding your individual targets. You take initiative, and pride in your work and are very well organised
Key responsibilities and objectives of the job are:
Recruit suitable learners for a range of programmes and courses to help develop their skills and make them more able to find employment;
Providing help and advice in a range of ways, including face-to-face meetings, email, telephone or Zoom advice, when is needed;
Promote the services and products provided by the organisation at every opportunity, including external events, meetings and communications;
Represent the organisation and conduct yourself in a courteous and professional way, ensuring a high level of quality and customer service;
Use a variety of methods to engage with key stakeholders with a view to increasing learner recruitment – such as one-to-one, team meetings, awareness-raising sessions, talks, presentations, press releases, social media and marketing;
Establish opportunities for productive working relationships with partner organisations and referral agencies such as Department of Work and Pensions (DWP);
Maintain, develop and nurture relationships with existing partner organisations and referral agencies, as well as new partner organisations;
Meet operational targets for learner recruitment as defined by the Centre Manager;
Provide Information, Advice and Guidance to internal and external partners and key stakeholders;
Produce reports and feedback on learner outcomes and overall effectiveness of referral agencies;
Education/Qualification and Training
Educated to degree-level (Desirable)
Student recruitment experience in an education environment (Desirable)
Experience of giving presentations and advising students (Desirable)
Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to initiate and develop relationships with a wide range of contacts, internal and external, in a professional manner
Proven track record in developing engagement, negotiation and lead sourcing.
Possess excellent analytical skills, evaluating and interpreting complex sets of information, drawing conclusions and recommending practical solutions.
Demonstrate a proven track record in taking personal responsibility for income and other sales-related targets, managing multiple projects, monitoring progress and ensuring delivery to deadlines.
Ability to work proactively and independently to meet targets
Client experience of engaging a range of referral partner organisations and business clients.
